Hi, I’m Scott Vis—better known as Wood — the artist, owner, and hands-on creator behind Wood Art by Wood, proudly based on Queensland’s sunny Gold Coast.

Born and raised in Cairns, North Queensland, my childhood was spent outdoors — diving, fishing, camping, and exploring the natural beauty that surrounded me. That connection to wildlife and the outdoors has stayed with me, and today, I bring that inspiration to life through my handcrafted hardwood and resin art pieces.
